Cayman Islands Travel Information – Adventures & Things to Do

A British Territory in the Western Caribbean, the Cayman Islands are the peaks of the huge underwater Cayman Ridge. The three islands are located south of Cuba, between Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula and Jamaica. The largest of the three, Grand Cayman is about 22 miles (35km) long by four miles (7km) wide.  The ‘sister islands’ of Cayman Brac and Little Caymanan are about 85 miles (135km) to the east/north-east. Regular island hopper flights connect Grand Cayman to Little Cayman and Cayman Brec, and private boats run between Cayman Brac and Little Cayman on a fairly regular basis as well.

Sting-ray city, Grand Cayman

While Grand Cayman may be best known for it’s ‘offshore’ banking and tax haven, it is also home to Stingray City and great snorkeling, while some of the best ‘wall diving’ in the Caribbean (and the world) can be found off the shores of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman islands. The Cayman Islands has plenty to offer travelers seeking an active vacation.  Check out the activities below, and follow their links for more specifics, including Tour Operators who can help you get the most out of your day:
