Rum from the Cayman Spirits Company Distillery

Located in the north end of George Town, Grand Cayman’s capital, is the Cayman Islands only Rum producer – Cayman Spirits has a store front and factory here.

The company produces over half a dozen different Cayman Islands rum varieties under the Governor’s Reserve brand, including white, over-proof, flavoured, gold, dark, spiced as well as a unique ‘ocean aged’ spirit, Seven Fathoms premium rum – Made from Grand Cayman cane sugar juice, this rum is aged underwater in barrels offshore from the island, in 42 feet (13m), or 7 fathoms of deep Caribbean Sea.

The Cayman Spirits Company facility in George Town has a retail store, a tasting room and they also offer distillery tours.

It’s also worth noting that the famous Tortuga Rum Cakes come from Grand Cayman and the Tortuga Rum Company has a bakery and storefront in George Town. Their products include rum cakes, treats, coffees and more!
