With its healthy coral reefs and rich marine life, Bonaire is one of the best (Top 3) islands in the Caribbean for Scuba Diving!  Klein Bonaire, a small island less than 1/2 mile (1km) from Bonaire’s western coast, is encircled by coral reefs that provide an amazing biodiversity of colourful fish, coral, sponge and more.  Bonaire diving lets you leave the hustle and bustle behind and journey to an amazing underwater world that you just can’t experience on land!

  • Valerie’s Hill
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 30 to 100 feet (9-30m) and offers views of black coral, sponges and fish including filefish and parrot-fish
  • Mi Dushi (My Sweetheart) / Johanna´s Revenge (north side – west end)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 25 to 100 feet (8-30m) and features a variety of corals and sponges along with shrimp, octopus, reef fish and seahorse.  Great for beginners!
  • Carl´s Hill / Punt P´abou
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and features a steep wall offering views of sponges, gorgonians, schools of small colourful fish as well as barracudas
  • Ebo´s Special / Jerry’s Jam (north side – west)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 25 to 100 feet (8-30m) and features an underwater cliff/cave structure with corals, sponges, lobster, and octopus as well as a variety of fish including grouper, snapper, angelfish, chubs and wrasse, as well as the occasional shark
  • Leonora´s Reef (north side – west)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 25 to 100 feet (8-30m) and provides views of large corals along with sponges, seahorse and fish including groupers, damselfish, butterfly-fish, angelfish, snappers and trunk-fish. Great for beginners!
  • Carl’s Hill
    • This spot is beach accessible with a maximum depth around 70 feet (21m) and features a steep wall with coral, sponges, gorgonians along with fish such as barracudas, bar jacks and schools of blue tang
  • Knife (north side / central)
    • This spot is beach accessible! This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and offers abundant views of coral, gorgonians, sea urchins, crabs and eels along with fish including parrotfish, hogfish, damselfish, chubs, lizardfish, butterfly-fish and angelfish.

  • Sampler (north Side / central)
    • One of Bonaire’s favourite spots, this dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and features a sandy bottom with a healthy coral reef offering views of lobster, crabs, turtles, octopus and eels along with fish including parrotfish, angelfish, groupers and frogfish.  Great for beginners!
  • No Name Beach / Playa Neme (north Side / central)
    • This spot is beach accessible and ranges in depth from 30 to 100 feet (9-30m).  This dive site features a sand bottom and reef with coral and sponges along with rays and fish including bonefish, groupers, parrotfish, scorpionfish, angelfish and chub. Great for beginners!
  • Ebo’s Reef
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 40 to 100 feet (12-30m) and features large sponges along with coral and schools of reef fish.  A great spot for underwater photography.
  • Jerry´s Sponges / Jerry’s Reef (east end)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 30 to 100 feet (9-30m) and offers views of abundant coral, sponges, plumes and anemones along with turtles, rays and sharks as well as fish including parrotfish and puffers. A great location for beginners and underwater photography.
  • Just A Nice Dive (south side / east end)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and features a variety of coral along with gorgonians and fish including angelfish, parrotfish, surgeonfish, butterfly-fish as well as schools of fish such as triggerfish
  • Nearest Point / Piedra Kolet
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and features healthy coral varieties, gorgonians, sea fans and sponges along with a variety of fish
  • Bonaventure
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and offers views of coral and gorgonians along with large fish such as durgeons and french angelfish

  • Monte´s Divi Tree (south side / east)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 15 to 100 feet (5-30m) and features corals, anemones, sea urchins, and sponges / plumes as well as seahorses and eels along with fish including groupers, parrotfish, trumpet-fish, doctorfish, angelfish and lizardfish
  • Rock Pile (south side / central)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and offers views of coral, crabs, octopus and eels as well as fish including groupers, grunts, snappers, parrotfish, flounder, trumpet-fish and angelfish. Great for beginners!
  • Joanne´s Sunchi
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and offers views of sand chutes, coral and sponges along with tilefish
  • Captain Don´s Reef (south side / west end)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and offers calm waters and a variety of marine life.  Great for beginners!
  • South Bay (south side / central)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 30 to 100 feet (9-30m) and features a sloping reef with a variety of coral along with schools of fish and grouper, snapper and jack.  Great for beginners!
  • Hands Off (south side / west end)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 30 to 100 feet (9-30m) and features a large underwater cave along with turtles, eels and the occasional shark
  • Forest (south side / west end)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 25 to 100 feet (8-30m) and offers views of black coral, gorgonians, sponges, turtles and fish including angelfish and grouper
  • Southwest Corner (south side / west tip)
    • For the advanced diver, this dive site ranges in depth from 15 to 100 feet (5-30m) and features a sloping reef with views of shrimp, turtles, schools of fish as well as doctorfish, grouper, barracuda, jacks, parrotfish and squirrelfish.  A great location for underwater photography
  • Munk´s Haven (south side / west tip)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and offers views of coral, shrimp, turtles and fish including groupers, wrasse among others
  • Sharon´s Serenity (west side)
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 100 feet (6-30m) and features a shallow reef with a variety of coral and plumes along with turtles and eels as well as fish including groupers, damselfish, doctorfish, parrotfish and barracuda.  A great location for underwater photography and also a popular spot for night diving
