Cayman Islands Excursions – Tours on Land

Things to do in the Cayman Islands – Land Excursions & Tour Operators

OK, you’ve managed to find some time between Snorkeling, Diving and various water-sports in/on the beautiful waters of Grand Cayman and you’re looking for something else to do… maybe you would like a tour of the island, to better appreciate what else there is of interest in the Caymans. You can check out the capital George Town along with more remote areas of the island with a local tour company, rental car or even riding a motorcycle or unique ‘two-seater scoot-coupe’ road vehicle. Whatever you choose, you’ll enjoy tropical sight-seeing while stopping at some popular Cayman Islands attractions.

In one corner of the island there’s a Turtle Centre and ‘wildlife encounter’ and a place called Hell with it’s creepy yet intriguing black rock formations! If you’ve always wanted to go horseback riding on a beach, maybe even venturing into the calm sea, you can do that and in Grand Cayman’s National Park. The island is also home to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, the Blue Iguana Nature Reserve, Governor Gore’s Bird Sanctuary as well as some interesting historical buildings. If you’re looking for a place to just ‘hang out’, there’s always Seven-Mile Beach, or perhaps you should check out the island’s quieter northern shore, including Rum Point or Starfish Point. Finally, there’s the less-visited east end with it’s fascinating blow holes and sea memorials. There are plenty of things to do in Grand Cayman if you know where to look – Let a knowledgeable local guide show you around…
