Some of the best Grenada dive sites off the southwest tip of Carriacou include (from north to south):

  • Point Cistern
    • This dive site features a reef / wall with finger coral that is alive with marine life. A good dive site for beginners to drift dive.
  • White Sand Beach
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 20 to 40 feet (6-12m) and features corals and gorgonians as well as fish, turtles and rays. A good site for beginners to drift dive as well as for underwater photography.
  • Jack Iron Point
    • This dive site has a maximum depth of 50 feet (15m) and features lobsters, octopus, eels, fish and sharks.
  • Barracuda Point / Little Sister Rock
    • This dive site ranges in depth from 30 to 75 feet (9-23m) and features a sloping black coral reef that is home to schools of small fish, tons of large fish as well as turtles and sharks. This dive site is recommended for advanced divers only.
  • Deep Blue / The Sisters Rock / The Big Sisters

A good site for drift diving as well as for underwater photography. Due to the depth and strong currents, this dive site is recommended for advanced divers only.
  • Black Sand Beach
    • This dive site features a shallow reef with patches of grass and sandy bottom home to a variety of critters including lobsters, schools of fish and rays. A good site for beginners to drift dive as well as for underwater photography.
  • The Rose Shipwreck
    • This sailboat sits in 75 feet (22m) of water on a sandy bottom and is now home to lobster, eels, rays and large fish. This dive site is recommended for experienced divers only.
  • Mamouth Shipwreck
    • This trolling vessel sits in 120 feet (36m) of water and features plenty of barracudas. Due to the depth and strong currents, this dive site is recommended for experienced divers only.

    • This dive site ranges in depth from 10 to 50 feet (3-15m) and features boulders and a sandy bottom home to lobsters, rays and a wide variety of fish. A great dive site for beginners and underwater photography.

    • This dive site has a maximum depth of 40 feet (12m) and features a small wall and coral-encrusted boulder with eels, plenty of fish and if you are lucky, maybe seahorses. A great dive site for beginners.
  • Seaview
    • This dive site has a maximum depth of 40 feet (12m) and features eels, octopus, as well as schools of fish, and if you are lucky maybe seahorses. A great dive site for beginners.
  • Lime Kiln

    • This dive site has a maximum depth of 50 feet (15m) and features rocks and a variety of corals home to crustaceans as well as fish and rays. A good drift dive site for experienced divers.

    • This dive site has a maximum depth of 130 feet (40m) and features a variety of marine life including plenty of fish. A great drift dive site for advanced divers only.

  • Frigate Channel
