Dive Sites off the South Coast of Grand Cayman

Surrounded by deep plunging walls and protective shallow reefs, the Cayman Islands are home to some of the best (Top 3) Scuba Diving in the Caribbean Diving!  The islands’ relative seclusion in the Caribbean Sea results in some of the cleanest ocean waters with healthy coral reefs. Scuba dive in the Cayman Islands and experience an amazing underwater landscape, where vibrantly coloured marine life can be enjoyed in fairly calm and amazingly clear warm waters.   • Little Table Rock
  • Kent’s Caves
    • A relatively shallow site at 30 feet (9m) deep alive with colourful marine life throughout it’s caves and tunnels
  • Carrie Lee Wreck
  • Pallas Reef
    • A shallow 20 feet (6m) deep site with a wreck (the Pallas) as well as coral fingers and plenty of tropical fish
  • Ron’s Wall
    • For advanced divers, this site is 75 feet (23m) deep with a steep wall covered in a variety of coral and sponges
  • Pallas Pinnacles West / Central / East
    • The wall and three pinnacles are 80 feet (24m) deep and covered in coral
  • Dede’s Garden
    • A relatively shallow site, 35 feet (10m) deep, featuring plenty of vegetation as well as lobster and eels

  • Gary’s Reef
    • A relatively shallow 30 feet (9m) deep site with large coral fingers and plenty of fish. A great site for beginners and underwater photography
  • Crossroads
    • A 65 feet (20m) deep site featuring a variety of corals along with sponges and gorgonians
  • Christina’s Wall
  • Cayman Crossing
  • Pirate’s Cove
    • A relatively shallow site starting at 30 feet (9m) deep, with several coral bottomed gullies
  • Bullwinkle East / West
    • A shallow 25 feet (8m) deep site featuring large elkhorn and staghorn corals, as well as plenty of caves, tunnel and swim-throughs
  • Eye of the Needle
    • For advanced divers… At 75 feet (23m) deep there’s a pinnacle with a swim-through that takes you deeper…
  • Phantom Ledge
    • This ledge sits 75 feet (23m) deep before plunging deep down a colourful wall
  • Gary’s Wall
    • Advanced divers will like this wall / abyss starting at 80 feet (24m) deep
  • Red Bay Caves
    • This shallow 25 feet (8m) deep site has a number of caves along with plenty of large fish
  • Peter’s Playground
  • Ollen’s Office
    • This site is 70 feet (21m) deep and features steep drop-offs and interesting coral structures
  • Laura’s Reef
    • A relatively shallow 30 feet (9m) deep site featuring a coral maze with plenty of marine life. Ideal for beginners and underwater photography.
  • Ned’s Tunnels
    • A relatively shallow site, 30 feet (9m) deep, with coral fingers and crustaceans
  • Dangerous Dan’s Drop-off
    • A colourful wall and abyss is found at 85 feet (26m) deep
  • Barracuda Ron’s Reef
    • For advanced divers, this 85 feet (26m) deep site features large coral fingers and barracuda
  • Marin’s Playgound
  • Chinese Garden
  • Japanese Garden
    • A shallow site bottoming out at 25 feet (8) deep full of corals, swim-throughs along with plenty of large tropical fish. A great spot of beginners

  • Charlie’s Caverns
    • A relatively shallow dive site starting at 20 feet (6m) deep before plunging into a number of gullies filled with caves, arches and swim-throughs as well as crustaceans and eels
  • Skye Arch
  • Broadbelt’s Bommie
  • Prospect Reef
  • Bat Cave Reef
    • This site is home to numerous coral structures including large staghorn and elkhorn outcroppings as well as lobsters
